When using a short gas cylinder with a pre-installed plastic boot, be sure to remove it before inserting the cylinder into the Torch Buoy™ for an accurate fit.
You may have purchased a a short gas cylinder at a retail location that has a pre-installed plastic boot.
To remove: The boot is adhered with a dapple of glue, simply pull it off with a good grip. If it is slightly difficult, use a screwdriver to pop it off, then insert securely into the Torch Buoy™ canister sleeve.
